David Lynn Graham

David Graham, age 58, of Ithaca, passed away on May 13, 2008 in Saginaw, Michigan.
David was born on November 8, 1949, at Smith Memorial Hospital in Alma, Michigan, the
son of Lewis J. and Lois Irene (Wonnacott) Graham. He married Cheryl Lynne Croad on
April 3, 2003 in Ithaca. He was employed for 22 years at Aircraft Precision. David
loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting in previous years. He was also a football fan,
loved riding his motorcycle, enjoyed movies, and truly loved his Grandfather Otis.
He is survived by his father, Lewis; his wife, Cheryl; four children: Lewis Graham, of
St. Louis, Mike Graham, of Ithaca, Samuel Graham, of Ithaca and Andrew Graham, of Ithaca;
three stepdaughters: Mandi Rutkowski, Amy Rutkowski and Amber Rutkowski; one grandchild:
Gaven Graham; two step grandchildren: Trey Jones and Taite Jefferson; two sisters:
Virginia (Tom) Strong and Mary Graham; one brother: Jim (Darlene) Graham; and nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Graham, his beloved Grandfather Otis
Wonnacott and grandparents.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2008, at 1 PM at the Barden
Funeral Home in Ithaca, with Mike Reeves officiating. Burial will be in the Ithaca
Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions be made to the
American Diabetes Association.

Frederick A. Holdsworth
Frederick A. Holdsworth, 82, of Grand Haven and formerly of Troy, died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at a local care facility.
He was born April 3, 1922, to George B. and Mae (Wonnacott) Holdsworth in Berkley.
He was the valedictorian of his graduating class at Berkley High School and went on to earn a specialist degree in
education from Wayne State University. He worked for the Berkley and Northville public schools and was a teacher, coach
and high school principal. He moved to Grand Haven from Troy this year.
He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and had played on the Wayne State University baseball team. His
memberships included both state and national education association, and he was a former Rotarian. Mr. Holdsworth founded
the "Babe Ruth League" in Berkley, where he was also director of parks and recreation at one point. He was voted "coach
of the year for Oakland County in 1956.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret, whom he married Dec. 26, 1945, in Philadelphia; daughters, Diane (Douglas) Legg of
Grand Haven, Hillary Holdsworth of Troy; sons, John (Karen) Holdsworth of Charlevoix, Fredrick W. (Laura) Holdsworth of
Chelsea; grandchildren, Julia, Erin, Elizabeth, Thomas, Kevin and Allyson; and great grandchildren, Alexander and Emily.
He was predeceased by son, Kevin C. Holdsworth; and sister, Wilma Dunser.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home, 620 Washington, Grand Haven,
MI 49417, with the Rev. Daniel Anderson officiating; friends may visit the family one hour before the funeral at the
funeral home; interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

Eri "Bill" Wonnacott

In loving memory of Eri (Bill) Wonnacott, who passed away at the Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario, on July 28, 2007, at the age
of 87. Beloved husband of Verona (Vee). He will be lovingly missed by his daughter Wendy, her husband Peter McKee and their children Danielle and Tom (pre-deceased)
of Port Credit, Ontario, and son John, his wife Glenda and their children Reese and Kyle, of Mission, British Columbia. He will also be fondly remembered by his nephew
Tom Griffin and family of Edmonton.
Eri is predeceased by his parents Ira and Florence (nee Gardiner), his brothers Harry and Frank, sister Ida, and nephew Glen. Eri
was a Veteran, having flown in over 50 missions as a navigator with the RAF in WWII. He was retired from his long-time association with Lever (Canada), and was

Doris E. Cornish

Doris E. Cornish, age 81 of St. Clair, passed away Dec. 12, 2006.
She was born Sept.15, 1925 in St. Louis. On March 24, 1951, Doris Wonnacott married John E. Cornish. He preceded her in
death on June 26, 2001.
Doris attended Michigan State University, graduating with a master's degree in education. She spent her teaching years in
the Grand Rapids and East China school districts.
Doris was active with many local organizations. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church UCC in St.
Clair.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Cornish, Janet Cornish, Cindy (Michael) Krzysiak, Mary Morgan and Eric Cornish;
grandchildren, Codey, Cassidy, Caylee and Cady Morgan and Joey Krzysiak; and half-sister Edna Dornbiof.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Graham.
Services for Doris will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the First Congregational Church UCC with Pastor Lynne Busch
officiating. Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in China Township.

St Louis, MI - Lois I. Graham, age 82, of Ithaca, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at Schnepp Health
Care Center, St. Louis, MI.
Funeral service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Saturday,
November 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis,
Michigan, with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2005 from
2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
Lois was born in St. Louis, Michigan on January 25, 1923 to Otis and Lureta (Bennet)
Wonnacott. She resided most of her life in St. Louis/Ithaca area. She graduated from St.
Louis High School with the class of 1941. Lois married Lewis Graham on May 27, 1942 in St.
Louis, Michigan. She was a homemaker. She loved to travel, camp and winter sports, including
snowmobiling. Lois also enjoyed flower gardening and loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Graham of Ithaca, MI; four children, Virginia and Tom
Strong of Ithaca, MI, James and Darlene Graham of Denver, CO, David and Cheryl Graham of
Ithaca, MI, and Mary Graham of Peoria, AZ; nine grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, one
sister, Doris Cornish of St. Clair, MI, and several nieces and nephews.
Lois was predeceased by her parents.

Ruth Wonnacott
FOLLANSBEE, W.Va. - Ruth Wonnacott, 88, of Follansbee, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died Monday,
July 4, 2005, at the home of her daughter.
She was born on April 7, 1917, in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, a daughter of the late Oscar K. and
Mary Belle Davis Woodford. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Ethel McHugh and
three brothers, Gilbert Woodford, Brent Woodford and Delford Digman.
Ruth was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cadiz, Ohio and a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband of 66 years, Lowell Wonnacott, at home; two daughters, Bonnie
Carrothers of Canton, Ohio and Karen Duffield and her husband, John, of Follansbee, W.Va.;
one brother, Harold Woodford and wife, Lucille of St. Clairsville, Ohio; seven grandchildren
and nine great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 17, at 3 p.m.
at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Follansbee. Interment will be held privately
at the convenience of the family.

Clarence Wonnacott
Dead At 94
"Poppy"
A true gentleman, Clarence Eugene Wonnacott, 94, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2004,
after a short illness. Born March 28, 1910 in Salt Lake City, UT to Frank William and
Annie Pearl (Branch) Wonnacott, the second of seven children. He graduated from West High School and the University of
Utah. At 16, he began working as the freight elevator operator at The
Hotel Utah, and eventually became the Assistant Manager. Asked by
President Heber J. Grant, he served as manager of the Temple Square
Hotel. He was a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy Supply Corps and
was awarded the bronze star. His greatest honor was marrying his
sweetheart Nancy Joy "Petey" Peoples, his Commanding Officer's daughter.
After the war, Bishop LeGrand Richards called him
to be the Administrator of the LDS Hospital, where he served for 17
years. The Shah of Iran invited him to serve as his advisor in
nationalizing the Iranian hospital system. Encouraged by President
David O. McKay, Clarence and his family moved to Iran to take the
position. In 1961, he was appointed Executive Director of the Church
Hospital System (now IHC). He later served with the Deseret Foundation
and received the Golden Caduceus Award. He was elected President of the
Western Hospital Association and the American Hospital Association.
With the love and support of his eternal
companion, he served as President of the England Bristol Mission,
Counselor in the Salt Lake Temple Presidency, member of the Sunday
School General Board, Sealer in the Salt Lake and London England
Temples, Bishop, and at age 80, Stake Mission Leader. At age 93 he was
still serving as temple coordinator, home teacher and new move-in
representative.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Joy (Willi)
Witte, Laurel Jill (Robert) Dunford, Harold LeRoy "Skip" (Sheila)
Overby, Jr, Bert Richard (Christine) Wonnacott; 16 grandchildren and 22
great-grandchildren; siblings, Norma June Wilcken, Afton Pearl Lindsay,
Vaughn Branch Wonnacott, Frank Wesley (Lorraine) Wonnacott and Charles
William (Winona) Wonnacott. He is preceded in death by his wife,
parents, sister Ivy Deanne Jack, sister-in-law Marie Wonnacott, and
brother-in-law Tom Wilcken.
He loved the Rudy Duck Club, Yellowstone Park, oil
painting, breaking into song, demonstrating Tai Chi, dressing up for
Halloween, Sunday dinners with family, tilting at windmills, and
Highland Cove Retirement Center - where his dance card was always full.
The family would like to thank his rejuvenators at
"The Cove", especially Bonnie and Linnea; and his hospice nurse and
longtime friend, Rayola Anderson.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 3, 2004
at 12 noon at the Salt Lake Little Cottonwood 5th Ward, 6350 So. Rodeo
Lane (1540 East), Salt Lake City, UT. Friends may call on Sunday
evening, May 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350
E. 1300 South; and on Monday, 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. prior to services at
the ward. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Joseph "Joe" Wonnacott, 1925 - 2006
Joe Wonnacott passed away peacefully at the
Rockyview Hospital on Tuesday, October 25, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Joe will
be sadly missed by his wife Monica; daughter Sally (Arnie) Stang; his only
granddaughter Kimberley; brother-in-law Jack (Audrie) Willmott. Joe was a veteran
of World War II in the Royal Navy. Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's
Anglican Church (903 - 75 Avenue S.W.) on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.

William Henry Shand
William (Bill) Henry Shand died on January 22, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was
born on January 27, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Louise Wonnacott Shand and David Shand.
Bill grew up in Salt Lake attending East High School where he was the Senior Class President
and captain of the football team (No. 32). After a brief stint at the University of Utah, Bill
enlisted in the Navy at the outbreak of World War II. Proudly serving in the Pacific, Bill was
discharged in 1945. Bill met the love of life, Bernice (Pete) Peterson, who was his father's
nurse at the Salt Lake County Hospital. They were married April 17, 1946 in Salt Lake City,
Utah. Married for 60 years, Bill and Pete lived in Murray and were blessed with three
children. After selling his business, Polar Locker Storage, he worked for the Post Office
before retiring and moving to Sun City West, Arizona to enjoy the sun and golf. Bill was at
his happiest during those fun and sunny days with many good friends and lots of golf. Bill's
quick humor, sparkling personalty, and engaging demeanor endeared him to all who knew him. He
will be sorely missed. Bill is survived by his wife, Bernice, and children, Bruce (Kathy)
Shand, Kathy (Lynn) Carlson, and Karen (Chris) Reid, and grandchildren Dori, Nathan, Rebecca
and Robert Shand and Kent (Tia), Dan and Craig Reid. The family wishes to invite friends and

Aubrey Charles Wonnacott "DUKE'
Duke passed away quietly at the age of 88, on Friday,
April 1, 2005, in Midvale, Utah surrounded by his wife, Imogene and other family members at
his side following complications of a severe stroke. Duke was a painting contractor most of
his adult life. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son to Horace Oliver and Olive
Rushworth Wonnacott. Duke was self-employed as a painting contractor most of his adult life.
Duke is survived by his loving wife, Imogene; two step-daughters, Marlene (Dick) Oliver,
Shauna (Michael) Pikula; two sisters, LaRiene Morgan and Marcelle (Wayne) Baker; and many
grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services were held on Tuesday April 5,
2005, 10:00 a.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 S. 2300 E., where friends visited with the

Leah Welling Kimball
(1907 ~ 2004)
Leah Welling Kimball passed
quietly from this life Thursday, May 6, 2004 for reasons incident to
old age. Her last days were filled with many visits and expressions of
love from family and friends. She continually expressed gratitude for
her many blessings in this life.
Leah was born March 12, 1907 in
Farmington, Utah, the first of five children born to George Albert and
Judith Oviatt Welling. She grew up in Davis County and attended schools
there. Later she graduated from LDS Business College and studied at
Weber State College and the University of Utah. Leah married Golden L.
Kimball in the Salt Lake Temple on June 4, 1936. He died on May 13,
1970.
Throughout life she was active
and served in various LDS Church callings (music, teaching, leadership,
etc.) on ward and stake levels. She loved her many wonderful friends.
In 1984 to 1985 she served full time in the Oregon, Portland Mission.
Upon returning home, she served as a guide on Temple Square in the
Family History Library and Church Membership offices.
She is preceded in death by her
parents, brother George Welling, sisters Marjorie Groesbeck (Jack) and
Marie Wonnacott, brother-in-law Phyll Horn and daughter Marcia
McGavock. She is survived by five sons: Richard J. (Patrice), Golden L.
(Janice), Craig W. (Yolanda), David M. (Kris), Victor M. (Robyn); 27
grandchildren, 10 great-grand-children, sister Leila Horne,
brother-in-law Vaughn Wonnacott and son in law Glynn McGavock.

At the South Shore Villa, Crapaud on January 21, 2004 of Mrs. Nora A. Wonnacott (nee Halloran), formerly of Spring Park Road,
Charlottetown, aged 107 years.
She was a centenarian, born February 16th, 1896, the daughter of the late Peter Edward & Catherine (Campbell) Halloran. She was the wife
of the late Bruce Wonnacott and the late Jack B. Mac Donald.
She was predeceased by her children, Lloyd and Shirley Mac Donald, her sister Kathleen Mac Donald, and brothers Albert and Louis
Halloran.
She is survived by her nieces Flora Kershaw, Helen Bulger, Laura Wasiuk, Henrietta Watson, Elaine Foster, and nephew Richard Halloran.
The family would like to thank Lynn Dawson and the staff of South Shore Villa for their excellent care during her stay at the Villa. Mrs.
Wonnacott will be remembered at the weekend masses at St. Dunstan’s Basilica.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the public funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m..
Private interment to take place at a later date in the family plot at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Norma I. Wonnacott
Died August 13, 2004
TRAVERSE CITY -
Norma Irene Wonnacott, 97, of Traverse City, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2004,
at Bortz Health Care.
Norma was born on July 20, 1907, in Pittsford, the daughter of Esther (Durkee) and
Jesse DeMond. She married Dewey Wonnacott on March 4, 1924, in Lansing.
Norma and her husband lived in the Lansing area for many years. Following Dewey's
retirement, they both found employment at the Bank of Lansing building. In 1969,
they began spending the summers at their Glen Lake cottage and their winters in
Halandale, Fla. In 1992, Norma made her permanent home in Traverse City.
A member of the First Christian Church, Norma tremendously enjoyed her family and friends.
She was dearly loved by many, including her "adopted family" at Bortz Health Care.
Norma is survived by her daughters, Barbara Fickies of Lansing and Joyce Trovato of
Traverse City; her grandchildren, Peggy (Barry) Ferrill, Sandra (Dave) Nye, Tom Trovato,
Bruce (Sue) Fickies, Dolores (Ed) Luke and Larry (Elizabeth) Wonnacott;
ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving is her sister,
Phyllis Phillips of Grand Rapids.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dewey, who died in 1988; by her son,
Lewis; brothers, Vivern and Elwin; and a sister, Ethel.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.,
at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held on Thursday,
Aug. 19, 2004, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home, with Pastor David Stout officiating.
Burial of her urn will take place in Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.

Joyce Arlene Trovato, 77, of Traverse City, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at Munson Medical
Center, where she was recuperating from surgery. Born Nov. 12, 1927, she was the daughter of
Norma Irene (Demond) and Dewey Wonnacott. She married Samuel W. Trovato on April 5, 1947, in
East Lansing. Joyce was employed as the assistant city clerk for the City of East Lansing
prior to her retirement. When she and Sam retired in 1983, they moved to Traverse City.
She was a member of Traverse Bay United Methodist Church and the UAW Retirees Association,
where she also served on the board. She enjoyed sewing and working on all kinds of crafts.
Joyce was an avid reader and loved to shop and travel. She always enjoyed spending time with
family and looked forward to special holidays.
Survivors include her children, Thomas Trovato and Peggy (Barry) Ferrill, all of Traverse
City, and Sandra (David) Nye of Stevensville; her grandchildren, Julie Trovato, Amy Trovato,
Russell Ferrill, Tamara Ferrill, Tracy Blanchard, Tina Esch and Steven Nye; and a
great-granddaughter, Kelsey. Also surviving are her sister, Barbara Fickies of Lansing;
and several nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam on August 3, 2001; and by a
brother, Lewis. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 8, 2005, from 2 to 4 p.m.
and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at
11 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Traverse Bay United Methodist Church, (formerly Asbury),
1200 Ramsdell, with the Rev. Jeremy Williams officiating. Burial will take place at
Deepdale Memorial Park in Lansing at a later date.

TRAVERSE CITY -
TRAVERSE CITY - Samuel W. Trovato, 80, of Traverse City, died Friday at home.
Born Oct. 10,1920, in Grand Rapids, he was the son of Andrew and Beatrice (Dara) Trovato.
On April 5, 1947, in East Lansing, he married the former Joyce A. Wonnacott, who survives.
Sam served his country honorably with the United States Army. He was employed as a wood model
maker for the auto industry, retiring in 1983 after 18 years with Oldsmobile; and he created
many beautiful wood pieces and toys for his grandchildren. Sam attended Asbury United
Methodist Church, was a member of UAW retirees in Traverse City, and the Elks in Ionia.
He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Along with his wife Joyce, he is survived by his children, Thomas Trovato of Traverse City,
Peggy (Barry) Ferrill of Traverse City, Sandra (David) Nye of Stevensville; brothers, Tony
(Jerry) Trovato of Grand Rapids, Michael (Marie) Trovato of Grand Rapids, Andy (Page) Trovato
of Grand Rapids; sister, Lila Bulsok of Grand Rapids; seven grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be at the
Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
A memorial service will take place at Asbury United Methodist Church on Monday at 11 a.m.
with Rev. Ted Hastings officiating.
Burial will be in Deepdale Memorial Park, Lansing.

Sandra M. Wendell
Sandra M. Wendell, 54, of Traverse City, formerly of Detroit, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, at
Tendercare of Traverse City.
Born Nov. 26, 1948, in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Raymond and Shirley (Burns)
Wonnacott Sr.
On Dec. 28, 1984, in Traverse City, she married James F. Wendell Jr., who survives. She is
also survived by her father, Raymond Wonnacott Sr.; her children; Kim Mayo, Annie Strehlke,
Brian (Andrea) Mayo, Ken, Carissa, Deb and Jeff Wendell; six grandchildren; brothers, Raymond
(Becky), George, Jerry, David and Randy; sisters Ranie and Lorri and many nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her mother.
Friends may call at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City on Friday from
2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert M.
Zagore officiating.

Peacefully on December 28, 2004 at Toronto Grace Hospital. Beloved mother of Marc
WONNACOTT (Shirley HUGHES) and Lisa HOCKING (Bryan) and a treasured Grandma to Amanda and
Andrew. An incredible lady whose Friendship was cherished by so many, she will be deeply
